My Approach
The space I create is designed to be warm, open, and non-judgmental, and to center the client’s wants, needs, and goals on their terms. My orientation in session is active without being prescriptive; therapy is a human interaction, and I see the benefits my clients receive flowing directly through the trust we build in our relationship.
I work with individuals throughout the adult lifespan, and strongly affirm all racial, ethnic, gender, and sexual identities.
Clients that might particularly benefit from my practice are those who struggle with anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Misophonia, or those who have experienced a loss of some kind. This includes the loss of a loved one, a job, or an important role or function. I help clients recover and heal from abuse, either from family-of-origin or romantic/partnered contexts. I also specialize in self-esteem and self-actualization work, helping clients to grow and connect with their deepest-held values and put them into daily practice.
